Community Responses to Racism and the Far Right
The resurgence of racism and the far-right is one of the defining features of our era. In recent times, the spread of disinformation and hate-filled narratives has fuelled the growth of anti-migrant protests, culminating in the explosion of racist riots and pogromist violence last month.
In this webinar, Dr Paul O’Connell will take us through the history of community-led resistance to racism and the far right across these islands, drawing out the lessons that could inform a united community response in the present.
