DISABILITY AWARENESS DAY
Destined is a voluntary charitable organisation with two centers one in Derry and one in Feeny that seeks to address the needs of people with learning disabilities in a whole life context. They seek to empower people with learning disabilities and promote social inclusion.
Destined are running a Disability Awareness Day event during Good Relations Week on the 21st September at 11am.
The Event will take the structure of:
- Launch (by people with learning disabilities) of the Foyle Valley Railway Museum’s Interpretive Centre;
- Learning Disability Awareness Workshops;
- Learning Disability Open Day
