In the Margins – serving the least among us 2
As part of Good Relations Week, In The Nations Ministries are hosting an event for 30 refugee young people many of which are newcomers to Belfast. This event will take place on the 22nd September from 11-4pm.
We want to give them a comprehensive tour of Belfast using the Hop on and Off Bus so that they can become familiar with their surroundings, but also gain an understanding of the political and social divides in the city centre.
We want to show case Belfast and help them become acclimatised to their new environment. Following the tour, we are planning to host a lunch in conjunction with local community members in north Belfast with international food and entertainment.
We will also be inviting the PSNI north Belfast community team to join us for a short orientation session on citizenship.
