LAUNCH OF THE NEW ‘GET INTO SEWING’ PROGRAMME
Sew Ready is launching their ‘Get Into Sewing’ programme on Monday 25th Sept – a sewing lead program for adults wanting to learn how to sew either for leisure or of a way to meet new people.
During this 1.5 hour workshop you will learn all you need to know about using and making the most of a sewing machine. All materials will be provided so just bring yourself along and be prepared to have a lovely time and create a handy zipper pouch!
Through the class you will learn:
- How to set up and thread a machine and how to wind a bobbin
- How to set the correct tension
- How to troubleshoot common problems
- How to sew perfectly straight seams and how to finish them
