Living Libraries: Voices of Unity in a Diverse Society
This event gives an opportunity to reflect upon the idea of coming together despite differences and highlight the richness that diversity brings to society. This event shares personal narratives and fosters understanding across different backgrounds.
The Human Library focus allows us to appreciate others as they inform and educate us on their story. It is an opportunity to understand and learn from one another as well as accept the challenges faced. In doing so, it helps us to move forward as an inclusive society, who accept and embrace all that makes us different, whilst working collaboratively to enhance and improve our communities and our city.
