Religion and Conflict in Northern Ireland with Véronique Altglas

This event will take the form of seminar with a Q&A session.

“Véronique Altglas talks to Trademark about her new book “Religion and Conflict in Northern Ireland: What does religion do?”, which challenges the orthodoxy of the role of religion in the conflict and examines why there is a reluctance to talk about class experiences during the Troubles.

The seminar will shed critical light on some of the assumptions that underpin good relations theory and practice in Northern Ireland today.”
