BAME within the City: A Short Film

The  Peace Walls Project hosted a short online film based on pre-recorded interviews with BAME residents in Derry~Londonderry.

The Bogside/Brandywell Initiative (BBI) and the Peace Walls project have a wide variety of BAME groups and networks (Chinese, Indian, Filipino, Syrian, Bangladeshi, Japanese, African and Polish) and have been a key organisation in BAME engagement in the last few years through Mela events and cultural workshops.

This film was shown online via the Triax Neighbourhood Management Facebook  and Twitter pages.

Peace Walls Project

Organiser Bio: The Peace Walls project has been operational between the Fountain and Bishop Street areas since 2012. The project focuses on building community capacity, developing the local area to build community confidence in and between communities, with an overall aim to reach community agreement around barrier alteration or removal.
