A Vision for Our Education System: Change Starts with Us

The Ulster University’s School of Education and the Integrated Education Fund are hosting an event as part of the 2022 Good Relations Week to launch the UU paper ‘How Education Needs to Change: A Vision for a Single System’ and engage representatives of our main political parties in discussion about the NI education system.

Based on research as part of the Ulster University ‘Transforming Education’ project, Dr Stephen Roulston and Dr Matt Milliken will give an overview of their latest briefing paper and share suggestions for what a single education system might look like in the NI context.

The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion among political party representatives, responding to the proposals made by Roulston and Milliken.

There will also be time for the audience to ask questions of the political representatives and the Ulster University researchers.

We hope to see you at Malone House, Belfast on Tuesday 20th September.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided at this event so please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
