Art For Change Virtual Showcase
Art For Change Virtual Showcase
Experience unforgettable youth-led, arts-based, civic action featuring talented youth activists (12 – 18 years) from eduSOIL, Diverse Youth NI, ACSONI, NI Indian Community and ANAKA Collective who are unleashing their I CAN superpowers and creativity to take action on issues affecting their mental health and to inspire change in the world.
This is an on-demand by-donation, pre-recorded event that took place on Zoom due to the racial violence over the summer that forced us to shift our in-person programme online.
By booking a ticket you get access to our Virtual Showcase where you can watch videos of the inspriring stories of change and amazing artwork addressing issues of racist bullying, stereotyping, discrimination, teenage challenges and social media addiction. You will hear 5 stories of change as well as original drama, painting, poetry, music and multidisciplinary art from youth from eduSOIL, ANAKA Collective, Diverse Youth NI and ACSONI.
You will also have access to online forms (via Slido) to give written feedback about each project as well as the programme as a whole. There are 5 projects altogether and videos range from 6 – 11 min.
