Brighter Days for #ourMEA – Video Achieves

As part of Good Relations Week 2021, local young people from three different community based organisations will share insights around their personal journeys during lockdown through short videos.

Statistics highlighted that young people were the group most affected during the Pandemic. We are sharing ideas about Brighter Days Ahead as young people navigate through becoming part of the diverse wider community in today’s post-conflict society. Young people have had to adapt and embrace new technology, to develop new skills and form online relationships whilst still learning and developing and becoming involved in global eco issues and changes as a result of COVID.

The accounts are refreshingly honest, showing the depth of spirit and innovative approaches whilst progressing their own development, life experiences and careers.

Each video showcases positive projects that will inspire others to keep going and lead to a better future for local people as well as encouraging good mental health practices. It will also show the great contribution young people can make to society through specific examples.
