Collecting The Past/Making the Future Digital Exhibition Launch

The launch of a new digital version of the Collecting the Past/Making the Future exhibition that was on display at the Ulster Museum in 2020. The new resource is a curriculum-linked and interactive experience that creates a legacy for the exhibition and also brings it to new audiences, including schools.
1000 years on from events that marked the partitioning of the island and the formation of Northern Ireland, the exhibition explores events leading up to and around partition as well as the impact and legacy that period has had on today.
The exhibition and new digital resource explores multiple narratives and provides opportunities for young people to understand the significance of those events and to be better informed about modern-day issues of culture and identity as a result of the events of 100 years ago.
