‘Different Cultures, Similar Values’ – Exploring Inclusivity

The 2- hour workshop will combine African and Caribbean experience, poetry and song, video clips and audience interaction, with humour and challenge to open up candid dialogue.

The workshops will creatively present the dichotomy of the history and culture of the African and Caribbean communities in Belfast under the theme of ‘different cultures, similar values’; the same theme will be used to explore the underbelly of racism, focusing on inclusivity and barriers to such, exploring also black heritage and history and its significance for people from the African and Caribbean communities’ living in Belfast.
