Grassroot Coaching Leadership Workshop

Ethnic Minority Sports Organisation NI (EMSONI ) looks forward to welcoming community coaches to this face to face coaching leadership workshop where we plan to engage these community coaches on how to break barriers to sport performance from coaching perspective with the aim to improve their coaching delivery to the community football teams in Northern Ireland.

The coaching leadership workshop is taking place as part of CRC Good Relations Week and will focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals around breaking barriers to coaching education and improving wellbeing.

Through EMSONI annual 11 aside intercommunity social development football tournament – Northern Ireland Confederation Cup, we work with up to 60 community football coaches who use the tournament as a platform to build their skills as aspiring coaches in their different communities and in leveraging on that opportunity, this workshop will take it further to help them to share good practices, identify new barriers and challenges with the aim to improve their coaching delivery to the communities. These community coaches have significant role to play in building community relationships and they need to be supported with this workshop so that they can continue to make impact.

Our facilitators are seasoned and professional coaches with a wealth of experience and they will be glad to share their insights.

If you have any queries about the event, please contact Dr. Abena Aduse-Poku by email coordinator@emsoni.org
