Japanese Folktales For Children
In celebration of Good Relations Week, Libraries NI is delighted to present Japanese Folktales for Children, featuring Masako Carey from The Armstrong Storytelling Trust. This special event, held via Zoom for an invited audience, will bring ancient Japanese folktales to life, offering a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Japan.
Reflecting the theme of ‘OpportUNiTY’, this storytelling session underscores the power of cultural exchange and shared narratives in fostering mutual understanding and unity. By immersing young audiences in these timeless stories, we open doors to new cultural perspectives and celebrate the diversity that enriches our global community.
Although the live event is for an invited audience, the recording will be available on the Libraries NI YouTube channel, ensuring that this opportunity to engage with Japanese folklore can be enjoyed by all.
