Light Theatre Company ‘Bananas’ Screening 2

Light Theatre Company CIC is delighted to host a film screening of our short film ‘Bananas’ as part of Good Relations Week.

Bananas follow Rose as she tells her story of recovery from mental ill health and homelessness. Filmed in beautiful Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor during the Covid Pandemic, with financial assistance from Newry, Mourne & Down District Council, the film recently won an Award of Excellence for Leading Actress at the WRPN Women’s International Film Festival in the USA.

-Saturday, September 24th at 7 pm. – Sinead Lunny’s ‘Vocalis’ Speech and Drama Studio in Banbridge.

The events will include musical interludes and readings of poetry followed by a discussion on the theme ‘Change Starts With Us.’
