Lunch and Learn – involving refugees and asylum seekers as volunteers.

During Good Relations Week, Volunteer Now are holding a Lunch & Learn Session on 21 September at 1.30pm on involving refugees and asylum seekers as volunteers.  Asylum Seekers and Refugees not only come with many talents, experiences and time but they also have a desire to become more integrated into their local community, meet new people and to make a positive difference. During this session we will explore how we can learn from organisations who successfully involve asylum seekers and refugees as volunteers, the challenges and how ‘Together’ a positive difference is being made.

We will start with lunch and finish with our AGM, which we hope you will join us for.
