Mabel Thompson – A story Through Paint

Libraries NI is hosting an exhibition of the artwork of Mabel Thompson. An incredible woman, Mabel Thompson continued to paint even after her sight began to fail right up to when she was completely blind.

Mabel served in every office of Dundonald Arts Society and was president until her death at 103. The exhibition includes a portrait that Bill Gatt painted at an art society meeting when she was 99.

During library hours.
