North Belfast Community Partnership Inclusive Community Group Good Relations Week 13th-19th

As part of the North Belfast Community Partnership Inclusive Community Group, local organisations have come together to deliver a vibrant and inspiring programme for Good Relations Week (13th–19th October). This year’s events shine a spotlight on community, connection, and celebration – with something for everyone to enjoy. From health and wellbeing sessions in Girdwood and Ligoniel, to women’s and men’s events, sports activities like basketball, football at Marrowbone Park, and a GAA showcase at Girdwood, the programme is packed with opportunities to get involved. Families and young people can look forward to interactive events such as Bryson’s “Play with our Planet”, while those interested in inclusion and diversity can take part in the LGBTQIA+ film screening and community stall, or join the thought-provoking diversity workshop. Disability Sports NI will also be leading an Autism in Sport Coaching session, ensuring the programme is truly inclusive. Looking ahead, the Balance Bike Programme in November will give children the chance to build confidence and have fun on two wheels.

This collaborative effort reflects the energy, creativity, and commitment of local partners who are passionate about celebrating diversity, breaking down barriers, and building a stronger, more connected North Belfast. Together, we are proud to showcase a week full of activities that highlight what makes our community unique – and invite you to be part of it.
