Schools of Sanctuary Awards
Primary and Post-primary schools in Urban Villages areas of Belfast and Derry/Londonderry and their surrounding areas will celebrate their achievements and be presented their awards by the Belfast City of Sanctuary, the Education Authority and The Executive Office. Pupils and students will share some of their experiences throughout their Schools of Sanctuary journey.

Organiser Bio: The Intercultural Education Service helps schools to meet the additional educational needs of pupils from our target communities: Traveller; Newcomer; Asylum-Seekers; Refugees and Roma. They provide advice, guidance and focused support to schools, families and other educational support services aimed at giving children and young people the best start in life and to provide a high quality education for every child.
