Training for Womens Networks HER’oes Exhibition

The Unsung HER’oes Exhibition celebrates the often-overlooked contributions of women to the Good Friday Agreement, marking its 25th anniversary. This powerful tribute explores the pivotal role women played in shaping Northern Ireland’s peace process, both in formal political roles and within their communities.

The exhibition provides a unique platform for recognizing these contributions and offers space for women to come together, share experiences, and reflect on lessons that can be applied to present-day challenges as Northern Ireland navigates post-Brexit tensions.

Featured: Stories of local heroes including Diane Greer, Marie Gillespie, and Jeanette Wark MBE from the North West, alongside women from across Ireland who helped secure and sustain peace.
