Family Activity Morning @ The Imaginarium Newry

Good relations start with childhood friendships.

The Integrated Education Fund (IEF) would like to invite families to join them for a morning of family activities on Saturday 25 October at the Imaginarium in Newry.

The morning is aimed at parents who are curious about what Transformation to Integrated status could look like in their child’s school.

Children will have the opportunity to take part in a creative workshop run by the Imaginarium for ages 5+, and their will be time for families to explore the creative space of the Imaginarium together.

The morning will conclude with a light lunch at 12.00pm.

Places are free, but all attendees must register for a ticket.

If you have any queries or would like more information, please contact Jen on 028 9069 4099 or email jen@ief.org.uk.

Good Relations Coffee Morning Sponsored by McColgan’s Foodhall

The Playhouse Good Relations Coffee Morning sponsored by McColgan’s Quality Foods gathering will be a social event designed to build connections among diverse groups within communities in the North West. The gathering will take place in The Playhouse which is a neutral, welcoming space. Participants from various backgrounds, including different cultures, religions and socioeconomic groups will come together to share coffee, buns and conversation. The informal setting will encourage open dialogue, helping to break down barriers and build understanding among all groups.

The primary goal is to promote Equality, Diversity, Inclusivity and also unity by providing a relaxed atmosphere that allows individuals to learn about each other’s lives, traditions and perspectives. This will lead to stronger social bonds and a more cohesive society. Additionally, our Good Relations gathering will serve as a platform for discussing common issues and collaborative problem-solving.

Organising our successful event involves thoughtful planning and will involve many diverse groups in the North West. We will ensure the event is accessible and welcoming to all.

By prioritising these elements, a Good Relations coffee morning is a vital initiative for bridging gaps, building mutual respect and enhancing the social fabric of our communities.

CommUNITY Lunch

Join us for a special ‘CommUNITY Lunch’ where local groups and residents come together to celebrate unity and inclusivity. Building on the success of our June event, this gathering will feature diverse groups from the area showcasing their work and services to the community. It’s an opportunity for everyone to come together, share a meal, and foster connections.

This lunch is not just about food—it’s about breaking down barriers. Residents from care homes on both sides of the community divide, local political representatives from various backgrounds, and refugees from nearby hotels will all join Forthspring in this unique event. It’s a chance to meet your neighbours, share stories, and build relationships that transcend differences.
