Description
A public screening of The Breadwinner, the Academy Award–nominated animated film based on Deborah Ellis’ novel. Set in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan, the story follows Parvana, an 11-year-old girl who disguises herself as a boy to support her family. The film explores resilience, gender equality, conflict, and the right to education.
