Peace in the Park is a free, family-friendly cross community event taking place on Sunday the 25th September from 11am-4.30pm in Alexandra Park Belfast .
This event will celebrate all that’s good in North Belfast and will include a range of activities and entertainers such as a petting farm, a pet show, balloon modeller, fairground rides along with live entertainment and much much more!

The event aims to increase awareness of local diversity and the importance or respecting and celebrating diversity.
Young people will have the opportunity to engage in a range of Good Relations activities and games exploring identity and citizenship.

Come along to our drop-in session and attend the relaunch of the Gay & Ethnic Group (GEG) established in 2011.
We know that LGBTQIA+ people from ethnically diverse backgrounds can face additional struggles in exploring their sexual orientation and gender identity. With GEG, we want to help you celebrate every aspect of who you are. GEG run activities and workshops, focus groups, 1:1 support, and performance events. GEG aims to create safe spaces for and raise the voices of the LGBTQIA+ communities in NI.

The TADA multi-cultural event aims to improve community relations in the area by bringing together a cross section of the population to network, talk, dance, and experience a diverse range of cultural cuisines, music, dance and art and crafts.
This event promotes awareness and understanding of different backgrounds and cultures through information and workshop activities.
We will have participants from a wide range of cultural backgrounds including, Mini Mula Dancers, traditional Bulgarian Dancing, Chinese Fan Dance, DHOL Drummers, traditional Mexican Dancing, Bollywood Dancer, Scottish Dancer, Irish Dancers, Irish traditional music and African traditional music. We also will provide a variety of workshop of traditional arts and crafts that participants could participate in.
Our event will be held on Saturday 1st October at 12.30pm in Millennium Court, Portadown.
32 tenants and their children from the Ravenhill Social Change Group and the Ravenhill Shared Housing Development took part in a 6 month programme co-funded through Peace IV and T:buc.
The participants have designed 2 large pieces of artwork which will be installed in the Shared Development of Global Crescent (125 ft) and a joining street of Cantrell Close (85 ft).
They also made a video promoting the programme and the key themes of Our Safe Community, Our Children and Young People, Our Cultural Expression and Our Diverse Community.
The panels will be installed and launched as part of GRW on Saturday 24th September at 1pm in Global Crescent with speakers from Radius, Belfast Shared City Partnership and Peace IV.
The Creative Community Art video will be shown on a large screen, Irish and Ulster Scots Dance Performance with food and refreshments will also be available.
It should be noted this event is invitation only.
This event is an opportunity for residents from either side of the Alliance Ave/Glenbyrn Park segregation barrier to meet up and spend some time socialising and having a fun time.
There will be contributions from ten local community and youth organisations as well as a barbecue and fun activities for the kids. There will also be health checks, complimentary therapies and welfare advice on the day.
This event is aimed at increasing the levels of residents interaction in an area wherein research has shown that over 60% of residents have had little or no interaction with those on the other side of the segregation barrier
