A multicultural event celebrating global cultures with music, dancing, arts & crafts, free food and family fun.
Connecting Communities
For over 30 years, Habitat for Humanity’s work in Ireland has reached across communities, calling more than 40,000 volunteers to action. People of all faiths and no faith come together because we believe that everyone, everywhere should have safe place to live.
During Good Relations Week 2025, join us as we launch Habitat Ireland’s first ever impact report!
This year, the theme of Good Relations Week is ‘Connect’ – recognising that the foundation of a better community is built on People, Planet, and Prosperity, all connected by the goal of Peace.
Our ‘Connecting Communities’ report will tell the stories of Habitat volunteers, donors & community members and show, in numbers, the impact Habitat Ireland has had in the last year.
Hear directly from Habitat Ireland Chief Executive Jenny Williams, receive a copy of the report and enjoy a light lunch as you learn more about Habitat’s work in Ireland and around the world.
Connect with Coffee and Cake
Connect with us at Ardoyne Library for coffee, cake and a chat as part of Good Relations Week. All adults welcome.

Community Connected Together
Eden Project Communities invite you to celebrate Good Relations Week with us because we believe we need strong, connected communities to support each other and protect our planet.
Through The Big Lunch, our Network, and community activity, we’re on a mission to create happier and healthier communities who are better equipped to face life’s challenges.
This event celebrates our network members’ progress and recognises all the people who hosted #TheBigLunch events to bring neighbours together.
It is timed as part of Good Relations Week to recognise the huge difference we all make when we come together and celebrate our culture and commonality.
Join us for a bite to eat and take the time to meet other people from across Northern Ireland taking positive community action.
What ever your area of focus, come along and enjoy lunch and the opportunity to connect.
The event is open to everyone.
A vegetarian buffet lunch will be available at 1pm followed by a very short presentation by Grainne McCloskey Eden Project Communities and plenty of time to chat and network, something we don’t take enough time for these days!
Feel free to bring along a colleague or community volunteer (please book a ticket per person attending).
Looking forward seeing you there!
** Please note this is Northern Ireland wide event.
