Good Relations Week Events

Carrickfergus Grab a Grand - Your community, your ideas, your choice Connswater, Clanmill and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council are offering ten projects in Carrickfergus and surrounding 5 mile radius the chance to grab £1000.  

This session brings together the journalists, history teachers and interested others, first to listen to Deric and Brian Rowan's experiences, then to consider the validity of criticisms of current history teaching practice and discuss the contribution that the journalistic legacy might make to enhancing the teaching of the Troubles in classrooms.

As part of our Good Relations Week, TIDES will host an online fun quiz for up to 60 participants on the Peace + funded Youthscape Plus programme.

To celebrate Good Relations Week, Libraries NI will be joined by Masako Carey, from The Armstrong Storytelling Trust, who will breathe new life into ancient Japanese Folktales.

Interfaith activists from all over Ireland will connect together to mark International Peace Day. This event is facilitated by the NI Inter-Faith Forum and the Dublin City Interfaith Forum.
