Funding Clinics

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is hosting a funding clinic in Maghaberry Community Centre, on Wednesday 20th September from 7pm.

Local funding organisations and support agencies will be on hand to provide information on services and funding available to community and voluntary sector organisations.

 

Explore TOGETHER: World of Art

The Hen Shed will participate in these workshops that will introduce them to Lippan Art – which will allow them to explore the Indian Culture through an enjoyable medium.

Shared City, Shared History

Local secondary schools will explore the shared and sometimes divided history of the historic walled city by visiting the Siege Museum as well as the Museum of Free Derry.

Taiko TOGETHER!

An exciting morning of taiko drumming for the BUD Club. This workshops offers a unique opportunity for the young people of the BUD Club to experience vibrant traditions of Japan through the powerful beats of taiko drums.

Together through Indian Heritage Art

This is an opportunity for young children and adults to learn about Indian Heritage through creating a piece Warli Art through the medium of painting. Children 8+ can be registered for this workshop.

Building Connections Creatively will use the arts and creative storytelling to build connections with groups of people who would otherwise not meet. This workshop will enable discussions, dispel myths and create a greater awareness of what good relations means to us today.

Sisters TOGETHER

NWIA would like to welcome local women to visit their centre to gain insight into the lives of Muslim women, to chat, ask questions about their culture, values and traditions. Through getting TOGETHER it will, dispel myths and misconceptions while creating a greater understanding among women.
