Are you LGBTQIA+ and from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic Background? Perhaps you describe yourself as a Person of Colour or maybe you're an international student, a migrant worker, a refugee or an asylum seeker? If so we at the Rainbow Project are here to help. Come along to our drop-in session and attend the relaunch of the Gay & Ethnic Group (GEG) established in 2011.
We know that LGBTQIA+ people from ethnically diverse backgrounds can face additional struggles in exploring their sexual orientation and gender identity. With GEG, we want to help you celebrate every aspect of who you are. GEG run activities and workshops, focus groups, 1:1 support, and performance events. GEG aims to create safe spaces for and raise the voices of the LGBTQIA+ communities in NI.
