Women at War

Over the last few years the Churches Trust has developed programmes for women that celebrates their role in family and society. This unique workshop will be led by the International School for Peace Studies and run on 'International Day of Peace'. During this workshop you will be given the opportunity to explore the role of women during World War One and how their role has evolved since. Particular emphasis will be given to the importance of women in de-escalating conflict and promoting cultures of peace and coexistence. We will also find out how women can prevent our young people and children from being recruited as combatants. This is an important workshop that celebrates the importance of women as peacekeepers during 'International Day of Peace'.
