What kind of society do we aspire to be? and How can we collectively work better together for the Common Good? As part of Good Relations Week 2024, Youth Link are inviting Faith-based and Community Youth Workers to participate in a discussion around these questions. We will reflect on the recent, and ongoing racist violence across Northern Ireland; listen to different experiences; and consider the contribution of Church and Community Youth Work in addressing racism and sectarianism. Additionally, Youth Link will introduce Beyond Our Walls, a resource developed by Youth Workers, for Youth Workers, to support conversations with young people around different social issues, including how inequalities, division, and poverty impacts communities not just in Northern Ireland, but in different parts of the world. We hope you will join us for lunch at 1.30pm and the discussion will run from 2pm - 4pm on Thursday 19 September 2024. We look forward to having this important discussion, and to welcoming you to Youth Link.
