A Celebration of Good Relations

Run by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council

The celebration will bring together members of our Community and Voluntary sector who are doing incredible Good Relations work across Newry, Mourne and Down.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is delighted to host a Celebration of Good Relations event on Thursday 16 October, Canal Court Hotel, at 7.00pm (Registration from 6.30pm).

The event will feature a panel discussion exploring Good Relations in our community, bringing together voices from diverse backgrounds to share experiences, challenges and opportunities for fostering stronger community bonds.

Guests will also enjoy performances from local groups including the Kirknarra School of Dance and St. Joseph’s Pipe Band Glassdrumman, showcasing the richness of our cultural heritage and talent within our district.

In addition, there will be an opportunity to meet directly with funding representatives to discuss potential support for community projects and initiatives. Funders in attendance include The Executive Office, Community Relations Council and the NMDDC Grants and Funding Team.

Your presence will help make this celebration a true reflection of our shared commitment to understanding, respect and togetherness.
