Falls Community Council is hosting a cross community visit to the new exhibition in St Comgall’s ‘The Falls, Where The Troubles Began’. The event will include lunch and reflection.

On Wednesday 15th October, Falls Community Council is hosting a cross community visit to our new exhibition in St Comgall’s entitled ‘The Falls, Where The Troubles Began’. The exhibition tells the story of the outbreak of the conflict on the Falls in 1969 through photographs and film footage from the time and also the memories and experiences of those who lived through it. The exhibition sets out the social and economic history of the area and also describes the early development of the peace process and how the community shaped the future and regeneration of the area.

The cross community event will start at 12pm with introductions and finish with lunch at 1.30pm and review of the experience.
