Age Friendly Training for Community Groups
As part of Good Relations Week 2026 and Positive Ageing Month, community groups and organisations are invited to attend this practical Age Friendly awareness workshop.
Delivered by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council's Age Friendly Coordinator, the session will explore how organisations can create more welcoming, inclusive and accessible environments for older people.
Participants will learn about age-friendly principles, consider barriers that can affect participation and identify practical steps that help older residents feel valued, connected and able to engage fully in community life.
