A one-day training for teachers interested to implement the award winning Buddy Up! Key Stage 1 Celebrating Diversity Programme
This full-day training provided by Community Relations in Schools (CRIS) expert facilitators will strengthen your professional learning community and support you to implement the award-winning Buddy Up! curriculum in your school as part of PDMU or linked to your shared education programme.
This 1x day training:
• Directly links to Key Stage 1 curriculum in PDMU for pupils supporting developing good relations, diversity & inclusion, and inter-cultural understanding
• Designed to support capacity building for teachers to self-facilitate the programme to embed good relations into school life
• Inclusive of 30 pupil booklets and teacher guides/lesson plans, as well as e-copies for future use
• Fully eligible under the new Teacher Professional Learning (TPL) fund - supporting sub cover, facilitation & resources
• Training Venue: North City Business Centre, 2 Duncairn Gardens Belfast BT15 2GG (Break & Lunch provided)
• Recommended by Teachers: “The most valuable PD I’ve had – for me and my pupils.” -P3 teacher participant from past TPL
