Positive Ageing Fair

Gain information on what’s happening in the Lisburn area for older people, as well as tips on how to stay active and engaged with your local community. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn all about what is happening locally, as well as get some expert advice on how to make the most of your days, whether that be volunteering, learning, sport, arts and crafts or something you hadn’t even considered. We will also welcome Siobhan Casey, Commissioner for Older People for Northern Ireland, for a Q & A session on the role of the Commission and what it can do for you. Dr Sinead Eccles, of the Open University, will be delivering a free talk on the practical ways to boost wellbeing. Booking is essential for these events only. The fair is free to attend, with stall-holders available throughout the morning. Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
