Have you earned lots of badges but haven't got around to sewing them onto your uniform yet?
Come along to our fun, friendly Badge Sewing Workshop at Sew Ready and learn how to sew on your badges all by yourself!
This hands-on workshop is perfect for young people who want to learn a new skill, build their confidence and take pride in sewing on their own hard-earned badges.
During the workshop, you'll learn how to:
🪡 Thread a needle and get started with hand sewing.
🧵 Sew your badges securely onto your uniform.
⭐ Build your confidence and learn a practical skill you can use again and again!
Our sessions are run by Sew Ready, a not-for-profit sewing school based in Lisburn. We provide a relaxed, friendly and welcoming space where everyone can learn at their own pace.
Workshop Details
Dates: Monday 12th & Monday 19th
Time: 4:30pm -6pm
Cost: £5 per child
Please bring your badges and your desired uniform piece to attach them to. If you don’t have uniform, please ask your unit leader if you can sew your badges onto a plain T-shirt or blanket in the meantime.
