Community groups in the Antrim area can apply for a £1,000 award through Antrim Community Grab a Grand. Seventeen grants are available to support local projects, activities, events and initiatives that benefit the wider community.
Community groups in the Antrim area are invited to apply for funding through Antrim Community Grab a Grand, a Participatory Budgeting initiative delivered in partnership by Radius Housing, Clanmil Housing, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.
As part of Good Relations Week, applications are open for groups seeking support to deliver projects, activities, events, workshops and initiatives that will benefit local communities. A total of 17 awards of £1,000 are available, with local residents helping to decide how funding is allocated through the Participatory Budgeting process.
The programme aims to empower communities, strengthen local partnerships and support projects that address identified community needs. Participatory Budgeting is recognised as an effective way to encourage community involvement, build capacity and give local people a direct say in how funding is invested within their area.
Applications open on 28 September 2026 and close on 23 October 2026.
