“Good Relations: Building Positive Relationships”

Run by Hospital Road Youth Club

Across the four sessions, volunteers and young people will learn and practice skills that support good relations, including respect, listening, communication, cooperation and cultural awareness.

Hospital Road Youth Club is delivering a four-session project during Good Relations Week. The project will be delivered by two newly qualified youth leaders who will take responsibility for planning, preparing, researching and delivering their first programme. Across the four sessions, volunteers and young people will learn and practice skills that support good relations, including respect, listening, communication, and cooperation.
As our community is diverse, the sessions will also celebrate and explore traditional cultures, including Polish, Hungarian, Irish, Northern Irish, Lithuanian, Syrian and African communities. To strengthen participation and engagement, the sessions will include snacks from each represented culture/community, with appropriate consideration for dietary needs and allergies.
