Lunch and Learn session for BHSCT Staff: Supporting PSIP Accessing HSC Services

Run by Belfast Health & Social Care Trust

This Lunch & Learn session will increase awareness and understanding of the experiences of People Seeking International Protection (PSIP) when accessing Health and Social Care (HSC) services.

Staff will explore common barriers faced by individuals and families, including language, cultural differences, unfamiliarity with healthcare systems, and the impact of displacement and trauma. The session will provide practical guidance on delivering inclusive, person-centred support and highlight available resources, interpretation services, and referral pathways within the Trust.
