Malone Integrated College Host Carson Awards Funded by the Integrated Education Fund.
The Carson Awards provide a valuable opportunity for young people to express their creativity and share their perspectives on the theme "What Integrated Education Means to Me."
Established in 2008 by Frank and Tony Carson and delivered through the Integrated Education Fund (IEF), the awards celebrate the talents, experiences and voices of pupils within Integrated Education. The programme includes two categories: the Carson Bursaries, which support arts-related projects by post-primary pupils, and the Carson Prize, which is open to all pupils attending Integrated schools.
Malone Integrated College has played a significant role in supporting and promoting the Carson Bursaries and Awards over recent years, with staff and students demonstrating a strong commitment to the programme. In recognition of this contribution, the College has been invited to host the Carson Awards Showcase on 15th October, providing an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding creativity, achievements and experiences of young people involved in the awards.
