Building skills in dialogue, mediation and conflict resolution through this free training opportunity for adults from all backgrounds.
Ulster University is pleased to host a practical conflict resolution training programme delivered by Mediation Northern Ireland and Glencree Centre for Peace & Reconciliation.
This training forms part of the NextGen4Peace programme, supported through PEACEPLUS and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
Designed for adults from all backgrounds and sectors, this training supports local people to talk about what matters in your area and share different perspectives together.
Learning Aims:
1. Understanding cross-community relations – exploring what the key issues are in your own context.
2. Understanding the theory and practice of conflict resolution.
Who Should Attend?
This course is open to all adults and will be of particular interest to:
- Community and voluntary sector practitioners
- Public sector and education professionals
- Equality, community relations and engagement practitioners
- Youth and community workers
- Faith and community leaders
- Individuals with an interest in dialogue, mediation, and building positive community relations
No prior mediation experience is required.
