Portstewart Autumn Clean Up

Run by Portstewart Community Association

Portstewart Community Association has an established track record of running regular monthly clean ups in the town which attract twenty or so people from a wide range of backgrounds and of a variety of ages.

The litter pick will be organised by Portstewart Community Association which has a very good track record in community relations, picked up the Good Relations Housing for All Award in 2025. We have a committee of sixteen members and and another twenty regular litter pickers who support this environmentally driven activity.

We will circulate details focussing on attracting new comers to the town. We will reach out to the five church youth clubs in the town the Guiding Association, Girls Brigade, the Scout Troop as well as the three schools in Portstewart. We will provide bacon rolls at the end of the clean up, giving an opportunity to share the experience. Food is always an incentive!
