Both shared education coordinators from both schools have drawn up a timetable for each class to go litter picking with their partner class in the local park. This was an idea that the shared school council came up with the previous year in their evaluations and suggestions.
After being on the waiting list for a few years and trying to get a suitable venue for both schools we have been very lucky securing a visit from ‘the action cancer big bus’. This will be open to parents from both schools and staff; all information will be sent out to parents through their school app to book appointments. Both principals have spilt the remaining cost of it to allow for this to happen.
A few classes will plant flowers for elderly relatives and deliver with a special message. The other remining classes will visit a local playgroup to sing to them and say nursery rhymes.
Each school will also take part in the poster competition.
