A sharing of songs from around the world performed by a multi cultural group including refugees, asylum seekers and long term locals. Hear songs in Arabic, Bengali, Irish, Yoruba and from Ukraine.

Songs Without Borders will perform songs from around the world, this is an event for families and anyone new to the area. The group was formed to provide a space for newcomers to the city to make connections and integrate with long term locals. We have members from Bangladesh, Syria, South Yemen, Iran, Nigeria, Ghana and Ukraine. Directed by professional singer and natural voice facilitator Maeve Leahy, the performance / workshop will include songs from the homelands and songs that the audience can join in with. It will be a beautiful evening of connection, joy and sharing. This is a public event, refreshments will be served after the interactive performance.

Transport can be provided, let us know if it is required.
