A shared lunch bringing women from Falls Women’s Centre and Bomoko NI together to celebrate connection, culture, and community through food. Participants will prepare and share traditional dishes from their respective countries and cultures.
Bomoko NI and Falls Women’s Centre are jointly organising this event as an opportunity for women from both groups to come together, build connections, and celebrate cultural diversity through food and shared experiences.
The shared lunch will take place at Falls Women’s Centre on Tuesday, 13 October, from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm. Women from both groups will prepare and share traditional dishes representing their countries and cultures.
The event will also include Sudanese and Irish music, a quiz, and other fun activities and games, creating an opportunity for participants to connect, learn from one another, and enjoy each other’s company.
Due to limited space, this is an invitation-only event.

BOMOKO NI connects and empowers refugee and asylum-seeking women in Northern Ireland to claim our rights and improve our lives through self determination and public participation. Falls Women’s Centre/Ionad Mhná na bhFál is a feminist organisation committed to promoting structural and gender equality for women. Our services include childcare, advice and counselling, and training and education for women and girls.

Omagh Academy's Senior Choir will lead the community in an Evensong Service - held in St. Columba's Church at 4pm on Tuesday 13th October.
