The aim of this session is to improve participants confidence in using their iPads and also to improve their digital experience.

Taking place on Zoom, we will take a look at your Apple ID and your iCloud account. You will learn how to reset your password and how to add credit to your account.

Launch of the ‘International Directory of Joint Protestant and Roman Catholic Schools’

A new 2021 edition of the International Directory of Joint Protestant-Catholic Schools is being published by the NI Council for Integrated Education.

This online event will provide an overview of the Directory and include input from a practitioner involved in running a Jointly Managed school. Dr Michael Wardlow (former CEO of the Council for Integrated Education and former Chief Equality Commissioner) will provide a reflection on how Jointly Managed Schools could contribute to reconciliation locally.

Launch of Gail’s Story Animation

East Belfast Mission will virtually launch the first of a series of animations which tells the story of local East Belfast Woman, Gail McCune, whose discovery of a love for the Irish Language inspired her to embark on a life changing study of Irish. This has included a Distinction in the Irish Language Diploma at the University of Ulster and she is currently studying a degree course in Irish and Archaeology at Queen’s University.

The online event will include a Q&A session with Gail and a number of people involved in the creation of the animation.

‘Imagined Futures’

Waterside Neighbourhood Partnership organised 3 workshops for young people aged 13 + to work with poets to discuss their ideas and hope for the future of Derry, the changes they want to see and how to increase the use of shared spaces within the City. This culminated in a series of short powerful messages that were sketched onto badges to be distributed throughout the City on Culture Night.

A panel discussion on ethical remembering, 50 years on from the start of the Troubles – chaired by Tim Attwood (West Belfast Civil Rights Commemoration Committee) with Seamus Farrell (The Junction), Maureen Hetherington (The Junction), Dr Gladys Ganiel (Queen’s University Belfast), Nelson McCausland (commentator and former DUP MLA).

Integrated Education: Embracing Our Future

The Integrated Education Fund presents a pre-recorded online discussion sharing different perspectives on choosing an integrated education and the journey experienced as a result of this.

The event was hosted by Peter Osborne, and the speakers will be Barry Corr, Principal of Seaview PS, Lucinda Wilson, Parent of child at Carrickfergus Central PS and Shane Greer, AlumNI.
